Welcome to Herbert's Army! This is a game where you are randomly assigned roles. You are also allied with people and given an objective to win. There are two sides, the EPF and Herbert's Army. The EPF always outnumbers Herbert's Army at the beginning of the game.

There are two phases in the game, the Day and the Night. During the day, the players can  choose to take someone out of the game.  At the end of the day, or when a majority of people skip the day, that person's role is revealed, and they may not participate in the game any longer. During the night, Herbert's Army may choose to capture someone. That person's role is revealed the next day, and they may not participate in the game  any longer at the start of the next day. The EPF wins when all of Herbert's army are taken out of the game. Conversely, Herbert's Army wins when they outnumber the EPF.

The best part about Herbert's Army is the roles you can become, as they have many different abilities. Most of these have abilities that only work at night.

You may have to lie to conceal your role if you are Herbert's Army.

There are no repeat roles in this game except for Citizen.

Each day is about 72 hours, while each night is about 48 hours.

ROLES:

EPF Agents:

Alpha/Delta

The Alpha/Delta has no special abilities, but is the most common role in the game.

Director
At night, the Director can choose to investigate someone alive that isn't him. He will get either suspicious for Herbert's Army except for Herbert and unsuspicious for other EPF members and Herbert.

Gary
At night, Gary can choose to investigate someone alive that isn't him. He will get one of the following pairings for which role they are.

Alpha/Delta/TPA Agent/Herbert/Stealth Agent/Herbert's Henchman
Director/Gary/Klutzy/PH/TPA Director/Tech Agent

TPA Director (Credit to Ccpenguin8 for this!)
The TPA Director can choose to recruit someone alive other than them at night. If they are an Alpha/Delta, they will become a TPA Director agent. If the TPA Director is taken out of the game or captured by Herbert's Army, the first TPA agent recruited will take up the role of the TPA Director.

Stealth Agent
The Stealth Agent can choose to exit Club Penguin at night. When they do, no actions will affect the Stealth Agent. He can exit Club Penguin two times in a game, and not two nights in a row.

Tech Agent
The Tech Agent can choose someone alive other than them to save at night. That person is not affected by Herbert's Army's capturing, and both the Tech Agent and the person who is saved will be notified that the person who is saved was not captured.

HERBERT'S ARMY:

Herbert
Herbert confirms the actions for his army. When he is investigated at night by the Director, the Director will get unsuspicious.

Klutzy
Klutzy is Herbert's right hand-man. If Herbert is taken out of the game, Klutzy will become Herbert. (I know that makes no sense at all) Klutzy can choose to investigate someone alive at night other than him. He will get the following pairings:


Alpha/Delta/TPA Agent/Herbert/Stealth Agent/Herbert's Henchman
Director/Gary/Klutzy/PH/TPA Director/Tech Agent

Herbert's Henchman
Herbert's Henchman can capture a player at night, but this counts as Herbert's Army's capture for the night.

Also, Ringo and I have agreed that I'll lock the thread when it's "Night" because apparently Night is meant to be silent (players can talk in PM or on the CB) whilst the teams discuss tactics etc.

The locking is just for the game, so because it's not due to a rule breaking I can unlock the thread during the Night if you really need to post. If you want a formal reason, then it's on user request. Smile

The thread will be unlocked in Day and locked again in Night. And so on.
