More items in Forum Shop

Yes, I know people have wanted more extravagant items.
But here's what I'm thinking.

We could have graphic designers working for the Forum Shop, providing avatars, signatures, etc.

They'll get paid on how much they sell, unlike a normal job.

A max of 2 people?

What do you think guys?

Not a bad idea, but it wouldn't really work out. Most people here who have good graphics skills already have their own graphics shop ( ex. Ccpenguin8 ), and most people choose to get their own signatures/avatars anyway, so they wouldn't get paid much.

Not a bad idea, but it wouldn't really work out. Most people here who have good graphics skills already have their own graphics shop ( ex. Ccpenguin8 ), and most people choose to get their own signatures/avatars anyway, so they wouldn't get paid much.

I'm afraid Gotchee is right on this occasion, KK. Practically everyone who can design graphics (I USED to do them) runs their own shop in the Graphics section, because it'd make more money to run your own shop than to work for someone else's. Still a good idea, and it might be nice to see things like avatars or whatever available in the forum shop.

What COULD happen is a graphics designer could receive, let's say, 500 SitePOINTS from the forum staff in exchange for making three generic avatars. These avatars would be put on the forum shop thread with a watermark, and you have to pay to get the avatar without the watermark. That way you could effectively sell graphics in the forum shop without hiring graphic designers to work nonstop filling custom orders.
