Marvel Superhero Takeover 2013

As you may know, several days ago the 2013 Marvel Superhero party started on CP. What do you think of it? Personally I haven't seen it yet but I'm going to read about it now.

I somewhat agree with you, JPG. It's notable that they've removed the Citizen (reporter/police) option when you choose your side. I quite like the new Power Crystal minigame, though.

Well, it all namely depends on whether or not the demographic for Club Penguin like it or not. Most of the players are 6-8 years old, who will honestly want it to be more...flashy and new. So, by updating the animation style and changes certain aspects, it all fits in with new technological styles, which 6 to 8 year old children enjoy. The staff honestly care very little about the older players, because of the high-demand for repetition and new features at the same time (do not ask me how that works, I'm not a 6 to 8 year old child), they have to create a balance. Simply, they keep the parties the same, yet constantly update the art and styles of the game.

I actually care very little about the game anymore, even less the marvel party, but I felt like sharing that.

I agree with the fact that CP is now mainly geared towards 6-8 year olds, but I don't see why they can't do something for the remaining older players and why they had to change the art style - nothing was wrong it.

I hate it, time to avoid Club Penguin until the 7th of May. :/ It's depressing, full of ads for Disney's other products and it's boring :/

However, I do like the idea of a Toontown party. That would be quite interesting.

I answered that question already. It's in their demographic to change the style to gear it toward that age group. Just because nothing is wrong with it doesn't mean it won't be changed: Marketing 101.
