I am delighted to say that I am returning to Club Penguin Forumm because a few issues have been resolved (thanks Maygirl!) so I can now resume posting again. I can't wait to get back into the community!

That depends. Sindar still has the RANK of Super Moderator, but he doesn't have moderation powers - yet. Mango was promoted, so that changes things slightly, and I'm not sure what Maygirl is planning.

If she thinks that Sindar is still the most suitable candidate, I'm quite sure that he will receive another position.

Yeah, if Sindar was re-modded, would Mango stay a mod, or drop down to TM? I guess it would not make sense to do that; but she was only granted the position because of Sindar's retirement... so what noaw?

Maygirl had plans to promote Mango Smango anyway, but Sindar's retirement sort of sped up the process, so to speak.

I was not implying that you did break any rules. If I think you broke a rule, I would probably be filling out an infraction form. I was merely shifting the topic away from staff appointments to Sindar's welcome, as that is what this topic is about.

The point is, Cc saw that the starting discussion was going off-topic. He did his job and told us that this thread should be for welcoming Sindar. Sure he replied to our posts on what will/might happen with the staff, but that's alright. As long as it doesn't become an ongoing discussion. Also, why did you think you might have broken a rule when Cc said we were just going off-topic?
