If you were on an island....

If you were stranded on a desert island and had only one book, one CD and an item of your choice, what would they be?

In other words, what is your favourite book, CD and other item. Post!

I don't enjoy re-reading any books, so even if I had one I probably wouldn't read it.
The CD i'd have would be Lady Gaga: The Fame Monster.
A working mobile phone would be my item of choice.

As for an item of choice, I agree with Sindar that a working mobile phone would be good.

Book: Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days
CD: A mix CD with all of my favorite songs on it
Item: A wizard wand so I could make any item that I want appear.

CD: a CD you put on the ground and it turns into a mansion

Item: DSI

Book: the Hunger Games, of course.
CD: I don't really like many CDs
Item: Teleporter back home.

Here's a fun fact: this thread is actually based on an old radio show that used to be aired here in the UK called 'Desert Island Discs'. They would get people to call in and say what book (you couldn't choose Shakespeare or the Bible) and music discs they would take if the were stranded on a desert island. My teacher recently told us about that, which is what gave me the idea for this thread.

Book: Probably not a book, i would prefer a comic. But if a book, The Lord of the Rings: The Return of The King ( has all cool battles in it )

CD: I usually listen to my iPod

Item: My iPad, and a plug, so i can recharge it
