I started school just yesterday and I already got tons of things to do...... I guess that applies for most people. And no one really plays CP anymore so that makes things harder.

I've barely even had free time these days. I stay up till midnight doing my homework, I barely even have free time. I only get like... 2 free hours every day? And honestly, while it's still sunny out I prefer spending my afternoon outside in the skatepark, forest, or whatever other place. Whenever I log on I just look at the posts, or should I say, lack of them, and log off. We're all under a lot of pressure right now, with all the schedule changes, etc. I also start soccer and swimming tomorrow, so add that to my busy schedule. It's just too much to handle AND come here.

Um, by the way, why the quotes over 'busy'? You do know that I'm still here?

I too have lots of homework that I need to be doing, and I'm left with less free time than I've had in a long time. I think I've got past the worst of it for this week, so I'm trying to catch up with the posts.

Although we've been very inactive and been through a lot of tough scrapes since our opening, I don't think this forum will die for a long while yet.  

As for the skin, I did say that we should have stuck with our old one when the New Skin campaign was launched. Unfortunately, I doubt we'll get it back, so we'll just have to live with it and love this forum for its posts and the community here, rather than its visual appearance.

I'm gonna toss in my two 'coins' (heh heh) on this.

If Maygirl DOES intend to leave the forum dead, then there are still some options. I've arranged them in most likely to unlikely. 

1) We stay here. There hasn't been any spam yet, so it's not likely for some to appear out of no where.

2) Spam appears - we can make another forum. Either using this system, or another.

3) Should THAT (somehow) fail..., we can try (TRY) to move to another forum. Such as TCPCF (no spam but ded), CPCP (ded with spam), or some other.

4) ????

5) Profit.

In response to your options:-

1) That's what we're probably going to end up doing, but I doubt Maygirl will want to fully leave - she still comes on regularly. Eitherways, the issue with CPCP was that some of the mods left it until too late before trying to crack down on the spam. If they had acted earlier, they wouldn't be in that mess. If we ever get spammed, I'm sure that Mango, Maygirl (if she does choose to stay) and I will ban the spammers ASAP.
