9/11- 11 Years :-(

9/11 was one of the worst days in human history. It is a day of misery and sadness, a day we pray for those poor souls that died.

I want to praise the people on the fourth flight, who stood up to their hijackers, and died bravely in Pennsylvania.

I am so sad. May those poor should be blessed.

Yes, it shook the United States confidence in itself, and to this day, the forces of the US government fight for our country against the Taliban and Al Qaeda.

Most of us here, from the United States however, know very little of what actually happened on that day, September 11th, 2001.

And the Pentagon in Washington, AND in Pennsylvania.

And it wasn't a small death count, it was 2,700+ innocent lives.

I was terrified when I heard about that. I know about it for many years now, so I'm not in big shock... But I was just a month old when that happened... My parents were so scared... And so was I.

No offence , but the americans killed A LOT MORE PEOPLE in Iraq during the gulf war. Im sorry so many innocent people died though.

Well, I've never lived in America, nor been there, and one can argue that it wasn't a world tragedy because it was just America, but technically, at least people from nearly every country died, so I guess it sorta is.

Well, it's very sad and may all the people who died Rest in Peace. Although no offense, I'm not American. Hopefully these terrorists will never do an attack like that again.

Some people say that the 9/11 was actually planned by the U.S government, so they had a reason to attack Iraq ( Al qaeda is an iraqi terrorist organisation ) and take the oils. It sounds pretty logical, actually. If you see videos from the tragedy, the towers exploded from the bottom. If an airplane hit them, the top would fall first. They probably hid explosives at the basements or something.

The classic conspiracy theory, eh? I'm afraid the United Nations would have severely punished the Unitsd States Government if they did such a thing.

Uuuum, if they actually did something like that, it would be TOP SECRET. No one would know about, not even the U.N.

Thousands of people?! You are probably not a conspiracy freak. Things like that are handled by a really SMALL number of people, 12 max. ( Ever heard of the majestic 12? )

I normally disagree with the conspiracy theory, to be honest. But, thousands of people would have been involved in making the decision, getting the explosives, delivering the explosives, creating the aeroplane cover up, setting up the bomb etc. etc.

Okay so.

In 9/11, around 3,000 people were killed. .

24-48 hours later after the US Started war, from that war 8,000 more Americans were killed.. .

Sad sad time.

Over 15 my friends grandmas friends were killed during the attack. She told us about it once.

I'm not going to go into details, but my great-uncle and his friend/business partner died that day along with 65 other British citizens . Which is why this matters to me. If this is calling for a respectful moment of silence, then I suggest we do that. The more we talk about the scale of it all and how we should pay them respect, the closer I get to tearing up.
