More Parties!

Now that summer is here, the forum will gain tons of activity! So, why not celebrate with a blast? Let's start the summer with more parties! There aren't really any parties going on so far, so why not start a new one?

First Day of Summer Party?

Also, a 1 year Anniversary Party in July!!

Bad idea. The forum doesn't gain activity on the summer, because most people " including me " go on holiday. Also, people can't even go to parties due to different time zones, so the more parties idea sounds kinda bad to me, no offence.

Nice idea, but I don't know if it will work. At peak times, we only usually get 3 people attending parties. In fact, twice nobody came at all, despite heavy advertising of the official parties thread we used to have.

Gotchee, sadly, is right. Because of time zones it's really complicated. The staff have tried to arrange them with little success, but you can always make unofficial parties if you want.

As for the 1st Anniversary - I don't know anything more about that than you do. Sindar says on CPB he's making a month of fun and Maygirl might be planning something (I just don't know). I expect we'll have some form of party for the 1st Anniversary...again, I can't be sure.

It's a shame, I know, but that's the way it is.

Here's a solution. Have a DAY 1 party for people in North America, and a DAY 2 Party for People on the other continents. What do you say?

That's a possibility. Trainman1405 did that for the birthday party I posted about earlier. Either way, though, the attendance for each day will be quite low because we have so many people on so many continents...it'll probably take 3 days to fit EVERYONE in.

Well, we have about 5 in the United States alone.
We have 2 (or 3) in GB
1 in Greece (Gotchee)
1 in Singapore 
1 in Poland 
3 in Australia

And some others I don't know

 Gotchee is Greek.

And, 3 in the Australian area - Maygirl, EternalStory and Medicinal (although he's from New Zealand)
