Remember, the Let's Party! Party's events can be decided by you! We can vote on the day, but I would prefer it if you could post suggestions on what you would like so everyone can have a good time. See you this Saturday! Smile

Unfortunately, the special school day I had today ran over, so the Let's
Party! Party was cancelled. The Thanksgiving Party will definitely go

The party will be hosted by me and organized/co-hosted by Sindar Toffe, and will consist of you all bowing down to me as your supreme god and rightful king. Razz

Just kidding, just kidding. Among the actual events will be a Sled-Racing tournament, a Card Jitsu tournament, a fashion show (believe me, it's popular), Hide and Seek and an event which YOU can vote for!

Wow, pretty good tournaments/games. Also, the what do you think about a Find-Four tournament? That's a pretty good game which some people actually play in real life.
Well, that's up to you I just wanted to give this suggestion of another tournament.

Remember, these dates are approximate, which means I had a good guess about the date. It is likely that the date will change when the party is announced. When the party is up on the thread, the details are considered final and then I'd make a decision on whether you can go or not. Smile

Recently, this thread has seen quite a decline. Infact, the party yesterday got 0 attendants and the last few parties haven't gone well either. Sad

I'd like to have some feedback, please post some if you have time!

I'd also like to remind users that it is vital that you reply to this thread if you can or can't come to the party. Nothing personal, please. It's like hosting a birthday party without sending invites - 0 or 1000 people could come.

Well, no offence or anything, but the time for the parties never suit me. In my opinion, all parties should be held on a Friday night. Most people always got something to do, and the time difference doesn't help either.

Anyway, I never make it to parties due to:

1) Time
2) Studying, homework, etc.

Gotchee, I can't find a time on a Friday night that isn't just suitable for GMT +2. I understand that's the best time for you, but this is an official thread so it needs to be suitable for as many timezones as possible. Are there any other times that are good for you?

I'll probably be there, although I won't be able to stay until the end. The time fits quite well for me, but if something unplanned pops up, I might not be able to come. The chances of me coming are around 70%. I'll try coming though.

As Sindar said, there was 0 attendance at the party on the 12th. I literally sat there for 55 minutes waiting for a person to turn up but nobody did. The reason it was at such an awkward time was becaus it was really celebrating my 2nd 'anniversary' of when I joined CPCPF - 12/12/2010 at around 7:30 PM GMT.

Next time, PLEASE notify us about whether you can or can't come. I hope the Christmas Party goes better.

I am very sad that that happened. I hope your Celebrating 2012 in Club Penguin party goes much better. Smile

I hope you attend today's party because eventhough these are hard to organise these are very fun Smile

Anyway:

I would like to announce today that the Official Club Penguin Forum Parties Thread has closed. I hope I am able to reopen in the future, but because of low interest I don't see a point in continuing with the thread. I will discuss when the thread could be reopened with the staff.

Relaunch Information

The Club Penguin Forum Parties Thread is relaunching on Friday the 13th of January 2013 with a new look, more parties and more FUN! We will be using this thread again when the Official Club Penguin Forum Parties Thread is relaunched.

We hope you come to the first party which will be the day after the thread relaunches! We will announce it on Saturday the 5th of January 2013.
