Tech Admin/More Admins

I believe there should be more admins on this forum. I mean, there's only one here. That's Maygirl. She only logs on a few times a week, for god's sake. If there was a tech admin, or more admins, SitePoint transferring would be in a few days, probably less, as well as many other things. Now, you may be wondering what a Tech Admin is. He or she is a person who helps the other admins and irons out bugs. What do you guys think?

I personally don't see a need for a Technical Administrator. They usually do quite complex stuff on the forum, but on Forumotion it isn't really necessary (the ACP is user-friendly). I don't know if Maygirl is into that sort of stuff, but if she isn't it is still something which Maygirl could do herself. Technical Administrators tend to only deal with technical issues on the forum or adding complex new features instead of moderating the forum or sorting out things like SitePoint transfers (on the forums I've been on). We'll have to wait and see, because it's up to Maygirl if she wants a helper

Eventually Maygirl is going to get sick of the forums..

I mean, Maygirl's still doing pretty good! She reads all the PM's, does the work, etc.

So... My opinion is neutral.

I like this idea. I mean, Maygirl takes a few days just to transfer a few SPs. 


I vote Bob the Builder for Tech admin on behalf of the Smurfs.

Ringo, I know you think Maygirl's never on. But she is. She's on at light in the night and early in the morning (I think 7 am?) (This is US EST Time).

Anyway, if new admin(s) are picked, I nominate Ccpenguin8 and Sindar Toffe.

Thanks to King Kane and Arctic DJ who 'nominated' me for this - I'm honoured and touched. However, I feel that Maygirl is doing a great job, and as she has already setup the forums and runs all the tech stuff already, I think she's capable of running the board on her own.  

I'm sure she'd say if she was hiring another admin, but I doubt that'll happen any time soon and I fully support MG as our admin.
