Teen Beach Movie Takeover

Disney have announced ANOTHER takeover  [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
 I personally think this looks terrible. I'm getting tired of Club AD; this is the 4th we've had this year in 4 months! I'm not paying for the game anymore; so I've decided to take a very long break until the takeovers end.

What do you think? Have you seen the movie?

I'd hate that, but that would be good for Toontown; but I'm not sure if it will be possible considering Toontown's current state.

I don't think so.

There's some romance in Star Wars, but that didn't show up in the SWT.

The plot is pretty much centered around romance; just look at the first sentence of the plot summary on Wikipedia:
"Brady ([You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]) and McKenzie "Mack" ([You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]), are high school sweethearts enjoying their time together surfing at the beach. "

I hope not :PWe'll have to see.

What I think? I think that this whole takeover idea is just stupid and they should begin bringing back the good old parties we used to have...

I'm really fed up with all the "takeovers" lately, which basically are Disney's pathetic efforts to advertise their products on CP............ They don't even care about us users anymore.

Takeovers bring more revenue into CP and revenue keeps the game open. I don't really like them either, but think of it this way: Toontown was losing money, so they announced its closure. CP with takeovers is better than no CP at all, right?

Takeovers aren't doing anything to help keep the game open; Disney are trying to milk the game while they can until it's dead, then they'll close Club Penguin when they can't get any more out of it. Toontown was closed because Disney never bothered to update the engine which is 12 years old, which was prone to security threats which contributed to the closure.

It isn't just Toontown; Pixie Hollow and Pirates of the Carribean Online are also closing on Sept 19, so I think that they should stop the Takeovers. Other games survive without them

Well, the dastardly thing has started. I haven't bothered to log on - has anyone else? If so, what do you guys think of the party? Rubbish? Better than expected?
