Summer holidays!

Hey everyone! I was browsing the forums and I was shocked to find out that we have no thread about the summer holidays yet. So I made one! Anyway, the purpose of this thread is to tell the other members about what you'll be doing during your holidays! I was on a two week long holiday in Portugal, and I'm going to Barbados for the last two weeks of the holidays. What about you? Are you staying at home, or going to some other place?

 Yep, she's from there. Simon Cowell also owns a holiday house there. I never knew that India is a tropical country though. Always good to learn some stuff though.

India:

South= Tropical
North= US Temp (East Coast)
North North = Frigid Himalayan Temp
East= Idk Actually. Probably Same as North
Middle= Dry, hot plains
West= Hot arid Desert

 I went to the coast in July, other than that, I've been at home enjoying my time.

 I went to the coast in July, other than that, I've been at home enjoying my time.

 That sounds fun! Did you swim? Did you surf? DID YOU EAT CORNETTOS? Staying at home is fun as well! My brothers and I are going to the pool every day because it's so hot.

In a pool, the Pacific is wayyyyy to cold to swim in where I live.. If I was in Hawaii, I might try surfing, i'm in Oregon.. Uhmm... MUWHAHAHAH.. I dont have a pool around here. Wow its August :'(

Anyway, I'm not really going abroad much. In fact, so far, I haven't been ANYWHERE - just at home.  

However, I plan on going to see some relatives in a couple of weeks, and I'm going abroad somewhere in mid-August, but I really have no idea where. We just can't come to a decision that isn't too hot, too cold, too far or too extortionately expensive.

So you're basically staying home in UK? That's right in the middle. XD

 DID SOMEONE SAY HOLIDAY DESTINATIONS? I'm quite a traveler myself, so I can give you a few nice ideas. 

• Madagascar - It's actually winter time there right now, but it's still warm! It's around 28*C at this time of the year there. It's the perfect place if you just want to chill out and stay on the beach all day. There are some interesting sights to visit as well. And not to mention the wild lemurs everywhere!
  
• Croatia - A nice and small country in Europe. The beaches there are amazing though! It's warm most of the time, and there's a lot to see. No extreme temperatures though!
  
• Finland - It's definitely something that people don't expect. It's a beautiful country with an amazing countryside, not to mention the sea! It's got lots of theme parks, like the Angry Birds world! There's also Santa's village on the North Pole, but that's rather a place you'd visit during Winter...
  

These are just a few thing sort the top of my head. I'm sure I could give you some more destinations!
