How was your holiday?

Hello Penguins!

For my school, our Easter holiday ends today and tomorrow is back-to-school day. Considering that the majority of people here don't live in the same country as I do and most of us have different backgrounds etc., you might have gone back last week, or next week - I don't really know. But anyway, how was your holiday and what did you do?

Personally, I went to see some family and one of my closest friends in the north of England and contributed another chapter to my upcoming book, *CENSORED*'s Train Travels, whilst on the..well, train. I also went to my parents' workplace, visited the Houses of Parliament and ran into some MPs (nobody famous or anything), and went to Leicester Square - if there is one thing I completely love, it's the Häagen-Daas restaurant there (trust me, you have never lived if you haven't tried their Mango Sorbet with Mint and Chocolate ice cream and a heated brownie - it's an entire restaurant dedicated to dessert, by the way). I also just stayed at home, did some homework, went on the forums etc. What about you guys?

Post Script (P.S): Is it just me, or is the first day back at school considerably harder than any other of the repetitive school days?

I also get back to school tomorrow. For my Eatser holiday I stayed at a cabin by the lake with my parents and a few friends. We were going swimming a lot! It was fun, and I'm really looking forward to the next break we get in two weeks time.

Anyway, all this ice cream sounds delicious! Unfortunately I can't have any ice cream.

1) Cool! I like lakes - I went on a boat across a lake whilst I was staying in the north. Swimming is great too - I go swimming on Wednesdays.

I love swimming in the lake! If I'm not at the lake, I go swimming on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Yeah.. It makes me throw up all day.

My vacation was awesome! I did nothing for a few days, and I went to the mall with my freinds and yesterday I walked to the store with them and we went shopping for a few hours! Thats pretty much the only thing I did XD But my vacation was only this week, I go back tommorow .

Well, actually, my Easter vacation starts at the end of this week ( we get 2 weeks off ), but I'll have to study for my final exams anyway, so it won't be much of a holiday.

1) Cool! You sound like a very active person. Personally, I'm more of a "sit on a comfy chair with a cup of tea and a decent book" kind of person, but that's just me.

2) I'm so sorry. I have family like that too. They eat this soya milk, which comes with soya yoghurt and soya ice cream. I tried it once - they make it taste like the real thing, but it still tastes a bit artificial. I really do feel sorry for you.

That sounds like fun. I'm guessing you quite like shopping.

I'm sorry that you had a short holiday. Perhaps you'll have a longer one later - some schools don't think the Easter/Spring holiday is as important as holidays such as Summer and Christmas. I get 8 weeks in the summer, but I'm extremely lucky compared to some people who only get about 2 or 3. Anyway, I'll stop there at the risk of being interpreted as a boaster.

That's very interesting - you clearly have a differently organised education structure in Greece. Good luck in your exams, and I hope you have a great holiday!

I had a great one, thanks! I didn't go anywhere, but it was still fun relaxing all day . It ended a while ago now, and I'm revising for my exams. Wish me luck!
