Taking a break from Club Penguin

I'm posting this here because I thought I'd let you all know that I won't be on the game anymore, I've seen a lot of people post about leaving the game the forum is about in the Introduction and Farewells section, so I think this is the most appropriate place

EDIT: Since this post, I have decided that I will be leaving the game permanently and I will not reconsider even if things like Takeovers end. Disney closed Toontown to focus on Club Penguin and other games, so I'm not giving them any more money.

Hi everyone,

I just thought I'd let you know that I am probably going to be quitting Club Penguin permanently within the next month, but, at the time of writing, I'm hoping that it's just a long break until the takeovers end. I'm leaving because I'm getting tired of Disney turning the game into Club AD and I'm not paying £4.95 a month to look at ads when there are other games out there that have no ads at all and are just as fun. Recently, we've had the following parties:

• Marvel
  
• Card Jitsu Snow (AMAZING)
  
• Monsters University
  
• Star Wars
  

and now Teen Beach Movie is up next. I can live with a takeover about Monsters University or Star Wars, but not that.  I'm definitely staying on CPF because of the great community here, and I'll continue to edit CPB because I want to make sure that it continues running

But in all seriousness, I'm kinda upset you're leaving.  But I can understand why; I hated the MU Takeover. bleh

Thanks everyone for the kind goodbyes . Let's hope that the Takeovers end; if the Halloween Party is a Frankenweenie Takeover, I give up

Disney is spending sooo much money on advertising.. that they need to have adverts in their game! Great for kids, until people make popups on links to take you to the game.. giving them a virus and destroying their computer!!  

No I dont support virus makers, they need to die.
