Are you happy that the world didn't end?
Well, we're alive!
So, I guess this IS a pretty random thing, but..... yeah, we're alive everyone! I didn't really believe that the world was gonna end in the first place, anyway. Now, we can enjoy Christmas without any doomsday worries!

Re: Well, we're alive!
Some people believe that the Mayan calendar ends on the 23rd of December 2012, so the Mayan predictions aren't over yet. Sorry!

We take life for granted way too often. I think we should just be grateful we have life. And no, a "big bang" did not create life.

That's your belief. There is absolutely no proof of how 'life' began. Anyway, I'm going off topic.
Back to the end of the world;
I never believed a word of it, ever.

Yes, there is little proof of how life began, and yes, that is his belief, and you should respect that, please.

I was having lunch yesterday with my dad and two of his friends in Camden (London borough - not where I live, before you ask). One of them lives in San Fransisco and he says that the Americans over there are having a total panic about it. As soon as he said that, I knew it wasn't real.
P.S No offence to the Americans among us.

Same here, in fact almost everyone over here was turning it into a bit of joke. I guess it seems more in San Francisco / California (where I used to live) area because there's always huge earthquakes that destroy highways and apartment building regularly, I guess the thought of the end of the world puts them into a panic.
