Think before you suggest something.

Post  Ccpenguin8 on 8/9/2012, 3:34 pm

Hello,

I've noticed some of you are suggesting ideas, which although they are fantastic, are simply not possible. Forumotion is a very good forum host, and has lots of features and can do lots of things, but precisely because it is free, there are some limitations. Yes, we can build a dynamic forum with plenty of the features that you may see on a paid forum, but unlike hosts like vBulletin, we cannot go around adding crazy custom-PHP features.

For instance, it IS possible to have a thanks button. But, it ISN'T possible to decorate all the Chatbox text with fancy animations.

So, just have a think before you suggest something about whether it would be possible. There are some great ideas, but there is no point posting them if they are impossible to implement.

Thank you,

Ccpenguin8 Smile
